Body

The Taylor 416e is built using the Grand Symphony body shape. Introduced in 2006, the Grand Symphony delivers a rich, powerful acoustic voice, without the dreadnought boom. Construction

The back and side wood of the 416e is built using Ovangkol, which is a sister wood to rosewood. Ovangkol is known for having a wonderful breadth in the mid to low-end tones.
