The Jackson X Series Soloist SL3X Electric Guitar in Metallic Pearl White combines sleek design and versatile tonal dynamics to perfection in this affordable workhorse. For rockers and metallers who are seeking a model to hit the studio or take to the stage with, and are on a budget, then the SL3X is the perfect choice.

          Streamlined Soloist body

The Soloist body profile is designed to favour speed and precision, rewarding fearless players who like to let loose. The shallow body depth creates an accommodating feel the removes any obstacles for the picking hand, whilst the contoured body shape allows the guitar to fit snugly against you during performances. The deep double cutaways clear the way for your fretting hand to explore the neck in its entirety. Basswood has been employed as the tonewood of choice, laying the foundation beautifully with a solid midrange energy that is infused with warmth. The metallic pearl white finish is protected by a layer of gloss polyester to reduce the chances of unwanted blemishes damaging the finish.

          Neck-through-body design

The true neck-through-body construction has been a feature of Jackson models since 1980, and are revered due to their improved playability and superior sustain. The X Series Soloist maple neck benefits from this construction method, whilst also receiving graphite support rod reinforcement to extend the longevity of the neck's stability for many years to come, no matter what you throw its way on the road.

          Compound radius fingerboard

Jackson pioneered the compound radius fingerboard design, which features a rounded profile at the nut that flattens towards the heel. The benefit of this design lies in its ability to create a more natural playing position for the fretting hand. Whether you're throwing in cheeky string bends, seamless legato or two-handed tapping across multiple strings, the rosewood fingerboard is more than happy to oblige you. Pearloid sharkfin inlays guide you along each of the 24 jumbo frets in style, whilst the single-ply neck binding offers seamless transitions between each fret.

          Duncan Designed Pickups

The X Series Soloist SL3X is equipped with a powerful trio of Duncan Designed pickups; a pair of high-output HR-101 Hot Rails single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions paired with a HB-103B humbucker in the bridge position. The beauty of this setup is the ferocity of the power produced, as well as the enormous dynamic range afforded and tonal versatility. Whether you're seeking a tight lead tone that cuts through the mix, a chunky palm-muted chug, or fat and chunky blues inspired tones the Duncans will happily oblige. A five-way pickup selector switch enables you to focus your attention on a pickup or pair of pickups to get the exact tone that you desire.

          Floyd Rose precision

To ensure optimum intonation and sustain along with peerless vibrato control, Jackson have equipped the body with a Floyd Rose Special double locking 2-point tremolo. Paired with Floyd Rose R3 locking nuts, you can rest assured that once you tune up and lock in, your strings will faithfully adhere to your playing, no matter how punishing it may be.
