The Jackson X Series Monarkh SCX7 Electric Guitar in Gloss Black is the ultimate shred machine, designed to ensure that your metal licks and riffs can flourish in style. This is a seven-string that doesn't take any prisoners, and once you've played one you'll wonder how you ever got by without it in your arsenal.
Modern day masterpiece
The body may adhere to a recognisable single-cutaway body shape, but the Monarkh SCX7 is unlike anything you have experienced before. The set-neck design offers peerless sustain, which ensures that your tone will ring out for days - perfect for laying down ferocious chops and searing leads. Built using mahogany, the guitar generates a phenomenal midrange energy, which is delivered with an uncompromising force. The arched top creates a comfortable playing position for your picking arm, whilst the single cutaway removes any obstacles from your path when reaching for the upper frets.
The single-piece maple neck is reinforced using graphite, which gives it an unwavering resilience no matter what you throw its way. Carved to Jackson's speed neck back shape, your fretting hand is afforded a reassuring playing support along its entire length. Paired with the neck is a luxurious dark rosewood fingerboard, which is home to 24 jumbo frets that are decorated with reversed pearloid sharkfin inlays. Jackson's customary compound radius fingerboard is designed to gradually flatten towards the heel from a rounder position at the nut. The result is easier fretting of chords, and a lightning fast feel under the fingers as you execute masterful fretboard gymnastics.
Sonic assault
The X Series Monarkh SCX7 is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, with a Nazgul in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck. The combination is flawless when it comes to producing crunchy riffs, unabashed white-hot leads, and absolutely crushing tones that are the stuff of metaller's dreams. Factor in the fact that you have the added 7th string to take your tuning to B - and lower -, and you can imagine that things will start to get very dark indeed. Control is simple and intuitive thanks to a 3-way pickup selector switch, a master volume pot, and a master tone pot. Everything that you need is ready and waiting.
Gig-ready hardware
The body is home to a Jackson compensated bridge with adjustable strings-through-body design anchors each string securely to optimise intonation. Jackson branded tuning machines adorn the reverse AT headstock with 3-over/4-under design, working dutifully to ensure that each string is fixed securely as you rock out.
