The Jackson Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7FM Guitar in Oceanburst employs the same dedication that the Periphery frontman and Jackson put into his USA model, but bears a more affordable price tag to enable more guitarists to join in the fun. Having established himself as a modern guitar hero, Misha Mansoor's playing style takes no prisoners - and his Juggernaut series of models is designed to keep up with his frenetic pace.
Sublime playability
The Juggernaut HT7FM body is shaped with comfort at the fore, with figure-hugging curves and gently contoured edges that allow you to wear it close and play unhindered. Built using basswood, the HT7FM is delightfully lightweight and perfectly balanced. The FM in the name stands for Flame Maple, which has been paired with the basswood to create a luxurious top. Finished in a stunning Oceanburst, the guitar displays the striking grain of the tonewood through the awesome paintwork, which has been treated to a protective layer of gloss.
Solid neck design
The neck has been designed to exceed the requirements of gigging guitarists with focus on comfortability and stability. With this in mind, the neck is a single-piece quartersawn maple design, which is shaped to the speed neck profile. Fixed via a bolt-on construction, the perfectly tapered scarf joint creates a seamless connection between neck and body. Graphite rod reinforcement makes this as stable a design as you will ever get, whilst truss rod adjustment is delightfully easy thanks to the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel.
Married to the neck is an ebony fingerboard with a super-flat 16-inch radius for executing flawless string bends. Offset dot position inlays guide your way along the 24 jumbo frets, whilst unique Luminlay side-dots ensure you can find your way on the darkest of stages. Down to the tiniest of details, Mansoor and Jackson have made this a performer's dream come true.
Exceptionally versatile tones
In keeping with his eclectic playing style, the Pro Series Juggernaut HT7FM is equipped with a pair of Jackson MM1 pickups in the bridge and neck positions. The pickups are wired with a unique switching system that allows either pickup to be selected individually, as well as splitting the coils. The controls on offer are the master volume knob, and a master tone knob that can be bypassed using a push/pull feature. Mansoor and Jackson went to painstaking lengths to offer as wide-ranging a tonal palette as possible, and with this setup they have exceeded all expectations.
Gig-ready hardware
As well as ensuring comfort and tonal versatility, the hardware setup reinforces the stability of the instrument. Fitted to the body is the Jackson HT7FM 7-string hardtail bridge with strings-through-body construction. The headstock is equipped with Jackson die-cast locking tuning machines. The partnership of bridge and tuning machines means that once you've set up your desired string action, intonation and tuning will remain steadfast throughout each and every performance. No matter what you throw at the Jackson Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7FM Guitar in Satin White, you can rest assured that it will play like a dream.
