The Jackson Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 Guitar in Satin White offers the sublime playability of the Periphery mastermind's own guitar at a more affordable price for us mere mortals. Since bursting onto the scene with his genre-bending music and finely-honed guitar craftsmanship, Mansoor has pushed the limits of what is capable in just about every sense. His collaboration with Jackson has produced a fine selection of models, of which the Juggernaut HT6 is one, that perfectly accommodate his intricate playing style.
Effortless style, peerless comfort
The Juggernaut body shape is ergonomically designed to maximise playing comfort for anyone and everyone who picks up the guitar. The sleek contours and carefully carved edges come together beautifully to provide a snug and unobtrusive feel. The deep double-cutaway maximises access to the neck and fingerboard in their entirety, ensuring total freedom across each and every fret.
The body is built using a basswood, which is a lightweight tonewood that accentuates the comfort afforded by the guitar. Treated to a satin finish to prevent unwanted stickiness or tackiness from affecting its playability, the body feels smooth whilst retaining its glorious white paintjob in pristine condition for as long as possible.
Solid neck design
The neck has been designed to exceed the requirements of gigging guitarists with focus on comfortability and stability. With this in mind, the neck is a single-piece quartersawn maple design, which is shaped to the speed neck profile. Joined to the body using bolt-on construction, the perfectly tapered joint creates a seamless connection. Graphite rod reinforcement makes this as stable a design as you will ever get, whilst truss rod adjustment is delightfully easy thanks to the heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel.
Married to the neck is an ebony fingerboard with a super-flat 16-inch radius for executing flawless string bends. Offset dot position inlays guide your way along the 24 jumbo frets, whilst unique Luminlay side-dots ensure you can find your way on the darkest of stages. Down to the tiniest of details, Mansoor and Jackson have made this a performer's dream come true.
Exceptionally versatile tones
In keeping with his eclectic playing style, the Pro Series Juggernaut HT6 is equipped with a pair of Jackson MM1 pickups in the bridge and neck positions. The pickups are wired with a unique switching system that allows either pickup to be selected individually, as well as splitting the coils. The controls on offer are the master volume knob, and a master tone knob that can be bypassed using a push/pull feature. Mansoor and Jackson went to painstaking lengths to offer as wide-ranging a tonal palette as possible, and with this setup they have exceeded all expectations.
Gig-ready hardware
As well as ensuring comfort and tonal versatility, the hardware setup reinforces the stability of the instrument. Fitted to the body is the Jackson HT6 6-string hardtail bridge with strings-through-body construction. The headstock is equipped with Jackson die-cast locking tuning machines. The partnership of bridge and tuning machines means that once you've set up your desired string action, intonation and tuning will remain steadfast throughout each and every performance. No matter what you throw at the Jackson Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 Guitar in Satin White, you can rest assured that it will play like a dream.
