The Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK3QM Electric Guitar in Chlorine Burst is bursting at the seams with premium features that make it a supreme shred machine. If you're looking for the perfect performance partner to take out on tour, then it doesn't get much better than this exceptional guitar. Play fast and play hard with the Pro Series Dinky DK3QM.
Lightweight Dinky body
The Pro Series DK3QM adheres to the delightfully comfortable Dinky shape, which allows you to perform with gleeful abandon thanks to the unimpeded access it affords. The softly contoured edges are combined with deep double-cutaways that enable your hands to access the neck in its entirety without any problem at all. Built using alder, the body is lightweight and offers a well-balanced feel. Paired with the top is a slick quilted maple top with a striking chlorine burst finish that is protected by a layer of gloss.
Sturdy and reliable neck
When you're beating the heart and soul out of the neck, you need the reassurance that it can take the punishment. Jackson take great pride in the consistency of their neck design, and when you play the Dinky DK3QM it is readily apparent. The single-piece bolt-on maple neck meets the guitar via a sleek scarf joint for the perfect fit. At the core are graphite rods that are dedicated to reinforcing the neck throughout the most enthusiastic of performances.
Paired with the neck is a 24-jumbo fret maple fingerboard, which is shaped with a 12-inch radius that extends to a flatter 16-inches, allowing string action to be set ultra-low (if you so wish) for throwing down licks with effortless grace. The rounded profile creates a more natural playing position when fretting chords, performing lightning-fast legato, and tapping away with all eight fingers. Offset dot position inlays guide your way, whilst the hand-rubbed urethane gel finish allows your hand to glide along with ease.
Seymour Duncan pickups
The hard rocking character of the Pro Series Dinky DK3QM comes pouring forth from the HSS pickup configuration, with a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups accomplishing the task with ease. In the bridge position is a JB TB-4 humbucker that delivers a warm and aggressive blast with just the right amount of distortion and sustain. In the middle and neck positions are the Strat SSL-6 single-coil pickups that can do it all from fat and chunky blues to searing, sweet metal.
Control over the pickups comes via the 5-way pickup selector switch, enabling access to a wide range of tones through coil-splits and pickup pairings to explore. The master volume and master tone pots allow you to sculpt and shape your tone to suit with pinpoint accuracy.
Floyd Rose mastery
The body is equipped with a Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo, which affords precise vibrato control with anything from slight adjustment to deep dives and soaring wailing. At the top of the neck is the Floyd Rose FRT O2000 locking nut, which ensures that once you've tuned up using the Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines you can work out the bridge to your heart's content. As ever, the Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock proudly bears the instantly recognisable Jackson logo.
