Deep double-cutaway Dinky body

The JS Series Dinky Arch Top features the contoured double-cutaway body shape that makes the Dinky such a highly-prized model amongst those who long for greater upper fret access. The shapely curves of the body allow the guitar to rest snugly against you during performances, whilst the arch top guarantees a comfortable resting position for the picking arm. The body has been crafted using poplar, a lightweight and tonally balanced wood. This has been paired with a divine quilt maple top, and finished in a transparent black finish that allows the grain of the maple to shine through.

Graphite reinforced maple neck

The smooth and fast playing maple neck is fitted to the body using a solid bolt-on construction, which is further reinforced by graphite rods to ensure a solid and reliable feel. Paired with the neck is a bound 24 jumbo fret rosewood fingerboard, which guarantees seamless transitions between each fret along the entire length of the neck. Employing Jackson's innovative compound radius fingerboard design, the rounded profile at the nut flattens towards the heel to create a more natural playing position for the hand with regard to fretting chords and laying down lightning fast licks.

The JS32Q Dinky Arch Top is equipped with a pair of high-output ceramic-magnet pickups, which produce blistering tones that are perfect for hard rock, metal, and fusion. The neck offers fat and thick tones that are perfect for beefy rhythm chops and saturated solos, whilst the bridge offers a tighter response that is fantastic for laying down chunky palm-muted chords and high gain licks.

Control over the pickups comes via the 3-way pickup selector switch, as well as master volume and tone controls.

Solid gig-ready hardware

The body is equipped with a Jackson-branded Floyd Rose-licensed double locking tremolo bridge, which affords absolute precision with regard to your vibrato control. At the top of the neck you'll find Jackson Floyd Rose locking nuts, which uphold string tension perfectly no matter how much you dive and wail with the bridge.
