The Ibanez SR305 body features delicately shaped contours that are designed to facilitate any player's style, so that whoever pickups up this bass feels like they've been playing it all their lives. Though it may be a 5-string model, the profile is slender and light in weight. The body has been built from mahogany, a tonewood that has a delicate balance between brightness and warmth that makes it incredibly versatile.

Responsive electronics

The Ibanez SR305 is fitted with two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions respectively. The pickups are controlled with individual tone knobs controlling the bridge and neck pickups, and a master volume knob, which is a simple yet powerful layout. Not only that, but the 3-band EQ controls give you a huge range of control, enabling you to boost mids for a punchier sound, or scoop the mids out for a distinctive low-end rumble with high-end slap
