BLEND OF TONEWOOD

The SR1300 bass is constructed using aesthetically eye-catching yet durable tonewoods to ensure that its appearance, projection and stability are all assured. Solid ash and walnut make up the top while the rest of the body is built using mahogany. This trinity of woods produces definitive highs with added warmth in the fat low end tones, which the mahogany naturally brings.

ATLAS-4 NECK

Fitted to the body of the SR1300 is a 5-piece wenge / bubinga neck which offers an incredibly smooth, comfortable playing feel. This Atlas-4 neck is 34 inches long with a 305mm radius allowing you to swiftly glide up and down with ease. Aboard the 5-piece neck is a rosewood fingerboard kitted out with 24 medium-size frets. The frets have been given Premium Fret Edge treatment which gives them a rounded feel, thus improving grip and overall playing feel. Avalone oval dot inlays decorate the fingerboard to guide you along the frets with confidence.
