Beautiful Semi-Hollowbody Design

The body is crafted using maple, which works perfectly with the semi-hollowbody shape to create a delightful balance of warmth across the mid to low-end, with a brilliant clarity across the upper mids and high-end. The AMV10A is a joy to play thanks to its shallow depth and lightweight feel, which enables you to perform with absolute freedom. The tobacco burst low gloss finish allows the natural grain of the maple to shine through, whilst the purposely distressed finish creates a knowingly vintage aesthetic.

Sturdy Mahogany Neck

Ibanez has employed a set-in neck joint to fuse together the neck and body, creating a reassuringly sturdy feel in the hand. The slender Artcore neck profile allows you to glide along the neck at speed. Married to the neck is a bound rosewood fingerboard, which is home to 22 medium frets that are adorned with aged white block inlays to guide your way. Thanks to the fingerboard binding, transitions between each fret feels smooth and effortless.

The AMV10A-TCL is equipped with a pair of Classic Elite humbuckers, which are fitted in the neck and bridge positions respectively. The pickup combination can be applied to a wide variety of musical styles, from rockabilly to jazz - and everything in-between. Control comes in the form of a 3-way pickup selector switch, a master volume pot and a master tone pot. From thick and creamy tones produced by the neck pickups, to the direct and punchy mids of the bridge, or a combination of both, you are equipped to hit the stage or the studio with a huge tonal arsenal. Precise control is guaranteed thanks to the Sure Grip III control knobs, which are finished in honey gold to complement the cool body finish.

Gig-Ready Hardware

Fitted to the body is an ART-1 bridge, which is partnered with a Quik Change III tailpiece. Both work dutifully to optimise intonation and sustain. Antique chrome finished tuning machines are fitted to the headstock, and carry out the task of upholding tuning integrity throughout each and every performance, allowing you to perform vigorously and enthusiastically.
