Built to be ""the height of performance and tone"", the new AE series by Ibanez is based on versatility and quality. The AE-305 is a superb acoustic addition to have for any style of guitarist. Ibanez have used top quality tonewoods for the AE-305, offering a well-balanced range of tones as well as an incredibly comfortable playing feel.

Body

The AE series of acoustic guitars fuses together top craftsmanship and materials. Solid Sitka spruce makes up the body top and is accompanied by rosewood in the back and sides, giving the AE-305 its full-bodied and balanced range of acoustic tones. The body is strengthened by Ibanez's specially designed scalloped X bracing and Tone Projection back bracing for improved playability and stability. From deep lows to sparkling highs, the AE-305 can lend itself to a wide range of musical genres and playing styles.

Neck

A smooth mahogany neck with a satin finish is firmly fitted to the AE-305. With a 400mm radius the neck has a comfortable feel in the hand. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard, a sumptuous playing surface for laying down intricate notes and chords. There are 20 frets on offer with exquisite wooden inlays for a striking visual guide.

Electronics

A newly-designed Ibanez T-bar under-saddle pickup takes the guitar's natural tones and translates them effectively through an amp. You have total tone control thanks to a 5-band EQ, notch filter and phase reverse, providing optimal sound clarity and keeping feedback to a minimum. The onboard preamp allows you to plug into an amp, mixing console or PA system, all with low-noise connectivity. The preamp has an active circuit to suit varying degrees of practice and performance sessions.

Hardware and Finish

The AE-305 retains the tuning of each string with superb accuracy thanks to the chrome die-cast tuners fitted to the headstock. A rosewood bridge, bone nut and compensated bone saddle work together brilliantly to enhance sustain and tone for a crystal clear acoustic output.

The AE-305 comes in a natural finish with an abalone and maple soundhole rosette and tortoiseshell pickguard for a protective yet decorative aesthetic.
