Smooth Tele' Style

The body of the Deluxe Thinline Tele's is built using alder, a tonewood Fender have employed for decades due to its balanced timbre and tonal consistency. The same single-cutaway profile is present, aiding you to reach the upper frets in comfort. However, this model has been treated with a semi-hollow construction, which allows the body to generate warmer overtones than that of a solidbody model. The design gives the guitar a distinctly breathier timbre, adding an extra dimension to its tonal arsenal. The body has been treated to a sophisticated 3 colour sunburst finish, which is protected by a slender yet resilient layer of gloss polyurethane.

Firm Maple Neck

Fitted to the body is a sturdy and responsive maple neck, which has been shaped to a ""C"" shape profile. The neck has been treated to a satin polyurethane finish to create a smooth playing surface that resists tackiness from slowing you down. Paired with the neck is a sumptuous rosewood fingerboard, home to 22 narrow-tell frets that are adorned with pearloid dot position inlays to guide your way in style. The flatter design of the 12-inch radius makes the fingerboard easier to perform seamless lead licks, as well as executing deep string bends without note cut-off.

Versatile Electronics

To match the luxurious tonal palette on offer, Fender has equipped the Thinline Tele' with pair of Vintage Noiseless single-coil Tele pickups that are fitted in the neck and bridge positions. Four way switching adds an extra element to play with: position four combines both pickups in series for a much hotter output and punchier midrange - great for searing solos and choppy heavy rock riffs. Knurled flat-top control knobs ensure that adjustments can be made rapidly.

Gig-ready Hardware

The Deluxe Thinline Tele' is equipped with a modern six-saddle sting-through-body bridge with block saddles, which optimises intonation and sustain by ensuring a seamless connection between the strings and body. The headstock is home to locking short-post tuning machines with vintage-style buttons that provide increased break angle at the nut for superior tuning stability.
