The Deluxe Stratocaster is no ordinary Fender Strat. Retaining all the prominent design features that make it look and sound great, Fender have also included special switching to give this model a real edge. With three single-coil, noise-free pickups, the Fender Deluxe Strat is the ideal performance companion with improved comfort and playing versatility.

ASH BODY

Fender have employed ash in the construction of the Deluxe Strat body. This is given a hard-wearing, protective polyurethane finish to keep the guitar in the best possible visible condition for many years to come, even after the toughest of live sets.

Perhaps the most recognisable feature of a Strat is its dual cutaway body, which allows for easy access to the higher frets. The body has a lightweight feel to reduce potential fatigue when playing onstage.

MAPLE NECK

A sleek maple neck is firmly joined to the body of the Deluxe Strat via a contoured neck heel. Thanks to the neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate, combined with the double cutaway body, reaching those upper frets is made even easier. The neck is shaped to the Modern ""C"" profile, which feels comfortable to grip as you make your way up and down the neck.

Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard, providing you with a sumptuous playing surface below your fingertips. The rosewood fingerboard has a flatter, 12 inch radius to further improve the overall playing feel. There are 22 frets at your service, adorned with white pearloid dot inlays to guide you.

VINTAGE NOISELESS PICKUPS

The Fender Deluxe Stratocaster is fitted with three single-coil Vintage Noiseless pickups. Each of the pickups offer total sound clarity and ensure there is no hum or unwanted sonic interference as you play. The pickups are situated in the neck, middle and bridge positions and there is a five-position switch blade to alter between various pickup selections.

Controls include Master Volume, Tone 1 and Tone 2 pots, but the real magic comes from an additional Push/Push mini-switch. This is placed between the two Tone dials and allows you to activate a blend of either the Middle, Neck and Bridge pickups in position 4, or alternately a blend of the Neck and Bridge pickups in position 5, for a punchier range of Strat tones.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

A modern two-point synchronised tremolo bridge is fitted to the lower bout of the body, featuring bent steel saddles for a vintage look and feel.

The headstock has a traditional Fender Strat aesthetic and has locking short-post tuning machines which uphold tuning integrity with precision. The tuning machines give an increased break angle which ensures there is no buzzing from any of the strings when you play.

The beautiful Fender Deluxe Stratocaster with a Rosewood fingerboard features aged white plastic control knobs plus a 3-ply black / white / black pickguard to finish.
