SIMPLISTIC STRAT BODY

The Fender Stratocaster is commonly recognised by its dual cutaway body that opens up your access to the upper frets on the neck. Its conventional, smooth curves sit neatly against your body as you play, making it much easier for you to enjoy.

Fender have built the body using only alder wood, a tonewood which produces a wide range of complex tones and voices. This also ensures a lightweight feel when you hold it, thus diminishing potential fatigue onstage and boosting comfort.

MAPLE NECK

Fender have joined a sleek maple neck to the body of the Deluxe Strat. The neck is made even better thanks to the contoured neck heel which is crafted to provide better access to those higher frets, facilitated even more by the double cutaway body. Fender have also added a 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate. Maple is also the tonewood of choice in the fingerboard, providing an all-round, elegant playing feel at your fingertips.

SPECIAL ELECTRONICS

The Deluxe Stratocaster is still a quintessential Fender Strat as we know it, however it has been empowered with special electronics. A Twin Head Vintage Humbucking pickup is employed in the bridge position to add a rich, heated tone to the guitar's usual voice. Though, this does not mean that you can't reproduce that ultimate Strat tone, because Fender have also fitted Vintage Noiseless pickups at the neck and middle positions. These single-coil pickups give the guitar its individual, true Strat sound with no interference.

Controls on the Fender Deluxe Strat HSS include two Tone pots and a Master Volume which is not only to adjust the output level, it also has a built-in S-1 switch, just tap it to single out the rear coil of the bridge pickup.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

A 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles gives the guitar a vintage visual aesthetic but allows for the creation of superb vibrato tones.

The traditional Fender headstock has deluxe cast / sealed locking tuners with vintage style buttons to provide total tuning accuracy. The break angle at the nut also prevents any unwanted buzzing from the strings, providing total clarity with each note. The body is decorated with nickel / chrome hardware and a 3-ply mint green pickguard to protect against scratches.
