The Stratocaster is a long-established Fender model, a firm favourite among guitarists all over the world for many years. The Deluxe Stratocaster is a brand new, deluxe electric guitar that keeps all the wonderful, original features that make a Strat so popular, but with the addition of special controls for a punchier sound output.

ASH BODY

Ash is the tonewood of choice in the construction of the Deluxe Strat body. This is then given a dependable, protective polyurethane finish to keep the guitar in the best possible condition for many years to come, even after an array of intense live performances.

One of the most recognisable features of a Strat is its double cutaway body, which allows you to easily reach those higher frets on the neck. The body has a great, lightweight feel to reduce any fatigue when performing live.

MAPLE NECK

A maple neck is firmly joined to the body of the Deluxe Strat via a contoured neck heel. Thanks to the neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate, combined with the double cutaway body, reaching those upper frets is made incredibly simple. The neck is shaped to a Modern ""C"" profile, offering smooth, effortless transitioning up and down the neck.

The slick fingerboard is also constructed from maple, giving you a velvety playing surface. The 22-fret fingerboard has a flatter, 12 inch radius to further improve the overall playing feel, promoting speedy playability and accurate note bends.

VINTAGE NOISELESS SINGLE-COIL PICKUPS

Fender have fitted three single-coil Vintage Noiseless pickups in the Deluxe Strat. Each pickup offers complete clarity with no hum or unwanted sound interference. The pickups are placed in the neck, middle and bridge positions and there is also a five-position switch blade to swap between various pickup combinations.

Standard Master Volume, Tone 1 and Tone 2 controls are featured, but there is an additional discrete Push/Push mini-switch. This is placed between the two Tone pots and it activates a blend of either the Middle, Neck and Bridge pickups in position 4, or a combination of the Neck and Bridge pickups in position 5, for a more expressive, impressive Strat voice.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

A modern two-point synchronised tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles offers a vintage aesthetic while maintaining a strong connection between the body and strings.

A traditional Fender Strat headstock is equipped with locking short-post tuning machines which provide tuning accuracy for each string. The tuning machines have an increased break angle which means the strings won't buzz when you play.

The Fender Deluxe Stratocaster with a Maple fingerboard features aged white plastic control knobs, plus a 3-ply black / white / black protective pickguard to finish.
