The Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard Guitar in Daphne Blue takes its inspiration from the home of country music - Nashville, Tennessee - and the genre it is so fondly associated with. Adhering to the instantly recognisable single-cutaway body profile, the Deluxe Series Nashville Tele offers tonal versatility with a unique (for a Tele) three single-coil pickup design.
Classic Tele' Style
It's long standing association with country music lies in the Telecaster's simplistic modular design: solid body, solid neck, robust hardware, versatile electronics - job done. The solid alder body produces a well-balanced timbre, establishing a firm midrange character. The robust feel of the body ensures that you have a firm and reliable partner throughout the most demanding of gigs. Increased sustain and thicker tone is assured thanks to the inclusion of a modern six-saddle string-through-body bridge with block saddles. Alterations can be made to each string with ease, giving you total control over intonation.
Sturdy Maple Neck
Fitted to the body is sublime maple neck, which features a contoured neck heel and a 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate to create a closer feel against your body. As well as providing enhanced playing comfort, it combines perfectly with the single cutaway body profile to ensure the entire neck is within easy reach. Paired with the neck is an exquisite rosewood fingerboard with 22 narrow-tall frets. The flatter design of the 12-inch radius makes the fingerboard easier to run your fingers across, as well as executing deep string bends without note cut-off. The headstock is home to locking short-post tuning machines that provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing, and greater tuning stability.
Unique Tele' Pickup Layout
To offer the Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard Guitar improved versatility, two noise-free, Vintage Noiseless Tele' pickups have been fitted in the neck and bridge positions, with a single-coil Strat pickup in the middle position. The flat response of the alder is matched with beefed up tones, which also draw out the twang and brightness produced by the neck and fingerboard partnership.
Flexible five-way Strat-o-Tone pickup switching unlocks various pickup combinations, providing the perfect sound for any performance. Knurled flat top controls knobs make it easy to carry out changes on the fly. Whether you're practising at home, jamming with friends, or hitting the stage or studio, the tonal offerings gifted by the Nashville Tele' are faithfully consistent throughout.
