Thinline Concert cutaway body shape

The Fender CN-140SCE is shaped to a thinline concert body shape with single-cutaway. The thinner body depth makes it very comfortable to perform with, whilst ensuring a punchy mid to high-end response that suits the nylon strings beautifully. The single-cutaway allows your fretting hand to reach the upper parts of the fingerboard with the greatest of ease.

The back and sides are built using laminated rosewood, which produces a rich midrange energy that is infused with warmth. The laminate stands up well with regard to changes in humidity and temperature - a must for a road-worthy model. The top is made from solid cedar, which yields a subtle projection. Classical fan bracing reinforces the top to prevent buckling of the soundboard over time, whilst allowing it to resonate to its full potential. Solid mahogany neck

Fitted to the body is a solid mahogany neck, which is shaped to Fender's 'Easy-to-Play' profile to establish a feeling of comfort along its entire length.
