Excellent build

Along with the urethane, sunburst finish, the offset alder body of the Fender Classic Series '70s Jazz Bass Lacquer is accompanied by a four-ply black pickguard.

Bolted to this is a thin, and supremely playable, 70s C-shaped maple neck, which also benefits from the being coated in gloss urethane lacquer. Atop this is a 7.25""-radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets and pearloid block positional inlays, and lies between a synthetic bone nut and a four-saddle American Vintage Bass bridge.

Completing the vintage style look of the Fender Classic Series '70s Jazz Bass Lacquer is a set of Vintage-Style reverse tuners, strap buttons, 4-bolt neck plate, and truss rod nut, right down to the pair of Standard Vintage Alnico Magnet Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups, which are controlled easily with a master tone control and independent volume controls for the neck and bridge.
