Introducing the Fender Classic Series'50s Stratocaster Lacquer.
Classic'50s Specification
Made to classic 50s specification, the Fender Classic Series 50s Stratocaster Lacquer has a nitrocellulose finish, vintage style pickups and everything else you'd expect to find. Built as an upgrade to the already impressive Classic Series, this guitar offers true vintage feel and that early Strat sound.
Nitrocellulose Lacquer
The starting point for any Stratocaster is that legendary body shape; carved from a solid piece of alder this has been treated to the aforementioned nitrocellulose lacquer finish and is the reason that the model has been named as it has. So what,s so good about it? This lacquer was used on the original Strats and only makes an appearance on a select few instruments. Thin and porous, this rare finish allows the body wood to breath more easily and give more of its natural tone, it also ages in a distinctive way that will have this modern instrument looking like a ,50s classic.
Soft V Maple Neck and Small Headstock
Classic appointments continue throughout the construction of the Fender Classic Series'50s Stratocaster Lacquer with the inclusion of a one-piece maple neck, which has received the same application of nitrocellulose lacquer as the body and is shaped to the Soft V profile. This brings with it the sharper shape of a'50s neck but made slightly rounder, for a softer, more comfortable playing experience, which is perfect for people with larger hands.
The maple fingerboard has a radial measurement of 7.25""for comfortable play, while 21 vintage style frets and black dot position inlays pave the way between the 1.650""wide synthetic bone nut and 6-saddle vintage style synchronised tremolo.
Vintage Sound and Style
The much-loved SSS pickup configuration is here; three vintage-style single coils packed full of vintage tone with 5 way switching at your command. To contribute even more to the vintage vibes the Fender Classic Series 50s Stratocaster Lacquer is equipped with aged knobs and switch tip, a single-ply white pickguard, and a fancy vintage tweed case for your beloved vintage treasure to call home.
