The Fender Classic Player Series 60s Mexican Stratocaster has a specially selected alder body give the guitar a lightweight with a natural resonance. Add to this a set of professional quality single coil American Custom '69 Strat pickups which have been selected for the guitar, and you get a great combination. This guitar sounds fabulous, full-sounding with plenty of versatility.

The tremolo bridge has a silky feeling two-point pivot system as opposed to more a traditional 6-screw arrangement and again is intended to be an added benefit for slightly more aggressive vibrato playing styles and heavier string gauges. We think this is a very well thought about guitar that sits perfectly in the Fender range. Comes with a deluxe gigbag and has a special Custom Shop Designed neckplate.

The Fender Classic Player Series pours decades of world-class experience in guitar design into a simple and elegant working instrument.

Fender Custom Shop master builder Greg Fessler, who hand-builds many of the guitars you see on stage in the hands of todays iconic guitarists, designed this guitar to be an affordable version of some of his creations. Although the model name contains the word ""60s"", the guitar has a vintage vibe with the ""mint-green"" pickguard and aged plastic parts, but with plenty of Custom Shop-inspired tweaks.
