Fender have strengthened the body top using quartersawn scalloped ""X"" bracing which enables the body to resonate with freedom. Mahogany contributes a real warmth to the CD-60S' overall sound that stands out among other acoustic models.

Neck

The CD-60S also features smooth mahogany in the construction of the neck. The neck is shaped to an ""easy-to-play"" profile which is ideal for a whole range of guitar players, such as younger players and beginners, or faster players. A 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with comfortable rolled edges sits atop of the neck with a 12 inch radius. Fender have decorated the frets with 3mm pearloid dot inlays to guide you through each transition.

Hardware and Finish

The Fender CD-60S is equipped with a robust rosewood bridge which holds a firm connection between the strings and body via the white bridge pins. The guitar resonates with great sustain thanks to the bridge and tonewoods. The traditional Fender headstock is fitted with chrome die-cast tuners which uphold tuning integrity with precision.
