A pioneering member of the American Vintage series is the Fender American Vintage ,52 Telecaster. Premium features of the legendary Telecaster include an ash body, deep maple neck with'U, shaped profile, sculpted headstock, American Vintage ,52 single coil pickups, and luxurious nitrocellulose butterscotch blonde finish. Revered for its quality, the Fender American Vintage ,52 Tele is favoured by the likes of Ray Davies of The Kinks, and Ian D,Sa of Billy Talent.

Body

The Fender American Vintage ,52 Telecaster is built from ash, a highly resonant wood that spans right across the entire frequency spectrum. Ash tends to offer a sweet, balanced, bright tone, which really favours the single coil pickups to create beautifully clean, transparent sounds. The ,52 Tele, of course, uses the original Telecaster body shape, and wears a lustrous butterscotch blonde finish.

Using a unique 3-saddle American Vintage, strings-through-body bridge system with brass saddles, the Fender ,52 Telecaster provides you with balanced string tension and intonation, with punchy sustain that rings out for days.

Neck

Equipped with a smooth maple neck, cut to the Fender'U, shape profile, the American Vintage Telecaster offers the most comfortable playing experience. The maple neck wears an equally sleek maple fingerboard, sporting 21 Vintage-Style frets with black dot inlays, providing a wonderfully smooth experience that allows for fluid transitions, whatever the technique.

The headstock is specially sculpted to improve playing performance on the first positions. The machine heads are single line ""Fender Duluxe""vintage style that offer accurate and precise tuning capabilities, and are chrome-plated for added style.

Electronics

Loaded with two American Vintage single-coil pickups in both the bridge and neck position, the Fender American Vintage ,52 Telecaster provides the distinct, growling tones Telecasters are renowned for. Offering amazing versatility between almost any genres of music, the single-coils provide true power and performance. Each pickup is controlled with a master tone knob and master volume knob, and can be selected with the 3-way pickup switching system.
