The Fender American Elite Telecaster guitar merges modern fixtures and improved, innovative additions with classic Telecaster styling which always delivers superb sound and a stunning appearance. ALDER SOLID BODY

Like many preceding Telecaster models, the American Elite Tele has a solid-body construction made entirely of alder. Fender have often described the Telecaster as a real workhorse, and this US-built model continues this tradition. The single cutaway in the body of the Telecaster is an instantly recognisable element of this Fender, combined with the contour in the back of the body, provides optimum playing comfort.

The alder body has a gloss polyurethane finish which not only protects the guitar against the elements, but ensures it maintains an attractive appearance for years to come.

NECK

A maple neck is securely joined to the body of the American Elite Tele with a satin urethane finish for a satisfying playing feel. Maple has a lighter wooden character which blends in beautifully against the body. The neck is shaped to a modern ""C""to ""D""profile and has a compound back shape, both of which contribute to a faster playing style. Furthermore, Fender have updated the neck heel so as to improve overall access to the upper frets.

Aboard the neck is a sumptuous rosewood fingerboard bestowed with 22 medium jumbo frets for you to enjoy with minimal effort. Decorative large pearloid dots occupy the fretboard to guide you from one to the next with confidence, while the truss rod heel-mounted spoke wheel allows you to adjust the neck relief.

4TH GENERATION NOISELESS PICKUPS

A brand new appointment on the Fender American Elite Telecaster is the pair of 4th Generation Noiseless pickups at the neck and bridge positions. The new 4th Generation Noiseless pickups are only featured in this American Elite series, and effectively cut out any noise which has often been generated by other styles of pickups in the past, thus offering you seamless performance capabilities. From sizzling, fat overdrive to bright, ringing clean tones, the Noiseless pickups empower you with a wonderful and wide range of sounds.

Equipped with a 3-way pickup switch, Master Volume, and Master No-Load Tone controls you can contour your sound further. Activate the S-1 push switch to modify your tone to suit your playing needs.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

The American Elite Tele is fitted with a 6-saddle American Tele bridge with chromed brass saddles, enhancing sustain and improving your tone immensely.

Deluxe cast sealed locking tuners are fitted to the headstock also prevent any buzzing during a performance, upholding tuning integrity with precision. The headstock also features a new black chrome logo, leaving a wonderful finishing touch.
