The balanced tones produced by the body establishes a versatile palette to perform with, ranging from a deep low-end throb through punchy mids to articulate highs.

The body is protected by a gloss polyurethane finish, which ensures that the cool ocean turquoise paint job remains in pristine condition for as long as possible.

Supple maple neck

The ever so comfortable maple neck is shaped with Fender's compound back with modern ""C"" to ""D"" profile, ensuring a consistent feel in the hand along the entire length of the neck. The free-flowing feel is maximised thanks to a subtle coating of satin urethane. The heel-mounted spoke wheel truss rod adjustment enables neck alignment to be corrected with ease. The freshly designed American Elite neck heel accentuates the improved upper fret access whilst adhering to the sleek style of the Jazz Bass.

Married to the neck is an ebony fingerboard, which is home to 21 medium-jumbo frets that are adorned with pearloid block position inlays to guide your way. The 9.5- to 14-inch compound fingerboard radius makes string-bending, slapping, popping, picking, and plucking as simple as can be. The addition of a 5th string doesn't detract from the comfortable playing experience, instead offering you a greater range to play with to extend your satisfaction.

Hardware/Finish

The body is home to a 5-saddle hi-mass vintage bridge, which anchors each string securely to optimise intonation and sustain. The headstock is equipped with Fender ""F"" lightweight vintage paddle keys with tapered shafts, which uphold tuning integrity with precision throughout the most demanding of performances. The lower bout is protected by a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard from unwanted nicks and scrapes.
